About my practice

I work with individuals experiencing a wide-range of issues, including depression, complex trauma, mania, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and psychosis.

My therapeutic approach is to serve as a collaborator as you face the challenges of the present while making sense of the past. I tend to be a good fit for therapy skeptics and those who are willing to work but have struggled to feel understood by other providers.

The foundation of my training and experience is in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also incorporate concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theories to deepen self-awareness and understanding.

Practice Details

I provide in-person therapy from my office in Downtown Oakland, just a few minutes walk from 19th Street BART and the Uptown Transit Center.

Scheduling, billing and telehealth sessions are provided through the platform SimplePractice.

My current rate is $200/hour. I do not accept insurance, but can provide super bills for reimbursement.

On occasion, I am able to accommodate select clients at a low rate to make quality therapy accessible to those who need it most. Reduced-fee slots are currently filled.
